Community Activist Ted DeSoyza will host a meeting at WESPAC to push forward the impeachment process of Dick Cheney and George Bush.
She will show "Crimes Against Humanity: The Bush Record" which is a 45 minute dvd followed by discussion: Thursday, January 24th at 12 noon at WESPAC. There will be an evening screening of the film in New Rochelle (details to be announced).
There are various groups in Westchester working on this issue. Congressman Wexler has set up a website and would like at least half a million Americans to sign up and register their intent to see impeachment proceedings begin this year. So far over 200,000 people have signed up (www.wexlerwantshearings.com)

Legislative Speak Out
Please mark your calendar for the Legislative Speak Out with County, NY State, and Federal elected officials on January 25th from 9a.m.-12:00noon at Westchester County Center, White Plains. This is an opportunity to learn about the latest legislative agendas and to hear from your legislators. The Legislative Speak-Out is co-sponsored with the Aging-Network and the Board of Legislators' Committee on Generational, Cultural and Ethnic Diversity.
Film Series on Race and Race Relations
The Fourth Unitarian Society of Westchester County will be hosting a film and discussion series on Race and Race Relations called "We Need To Talk". We will be screening "American Blackout". This film won a Special Jury Prize at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. The LA Times calls it “a muckraking indictment of the systematic disenfranchisement of African American voters.” These film nights will continue on the second Saturday of each month. Snacks will be provided. All are welcome.
